Cooking instructions for popcorn:
1. The first step is preheating the oven to about 325 degrees F and then coat two baking sheets that are rimmed with an aluminium foil or cooking oil.
2. Then over medium heat, place a large skillet. Slowly add the 2 tablespoons of extra virgin oil and let them heat for about 2 minutes.
3. Gently add the popcorn kernels; this helps cover the bottom of the pan. Using a nice clean lid cover the pan and ensure it is well held. Make sure you keep the lid as tight as you can; this prevents moisture that makes the popcorn recipe soggy escape.
4. After about 2 minutes, you will hear the sizzling of the popcorns. Shake and toss the cooking pan/ skillet occasionally until the popping noises cease. Shaking is very crucial here in that it prevents the popcorns from getting burnt, prevent popcorns from settling on the bottom of the pan and finally it ensures that the oil distribution is even and this is achieved by the popcorn kernels having oil coat. Once all the popcorn have popped, melt the butter and pour it over the popcorns. Make sure you buy the original butter as a way of retaining the original taste.
5. The next step is removing the skillet cooking the popcorns from the heat. Into a large clean plastic bowl put the cooked popcorns.
6. Then carefully mix your topping products; paprika, oregano or even cheese .Pour the mix over the popcorns and toss. you can also add melted organic raw cheese.
7. Now it is the time to sprinkle the nutritional yeast, salt, cumin although this step is optional.
Serve the Popcorn recipe to 7 people.
