How to Bake Banana Croissant Pudding

Cooking time: 30 mins

Ingredients needed to make Banana Croissant Pudding:

  • 2 ripe bananas, sliced into ½’’ thick rounds
  • 4-6 mini croissants
  • 1/2 cup Nutella spread
  • 4 eggs. Beaten
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ½ cup cream
  • ½ cup milk

Cooking instructions for Banana Croissant Pudding:

  • Position a rack midway within the oven and warm it up to 350 degrees F.
  • Grease an 8’’x8’’ baking pan with small amount of butter and keep it aside until required.
  • Slice each croissant longitudinally and place half of them, in a single layer, across the base of the prepared dish.
  • Top it up with a layer of banana slices and spread a dollop of nutella across the bananas.
  • Empty the cups of milk as well as cream into a bowl and pour in the beaten eggs.
  • Add the sugar into it and whisk them thoroughly until well combined.
  • Drizzle half of it on top of the nutella layer and arrange rest of the croissant over it.
  • Smother them with rest of the milk-egg mixture and set aside for an hour or overnight, if possible, to allow the croissant to soak in the liquid.
  • Place the dish on the hot oven rack and bake at the preheated temperature for about half an hour or until the egg solidifies and the surface puffs up.
  • Remove from oven and set aside for about 15 minutes to cool to some extent.
  • Serve right away.
