How to Bake Snickerdoodle Cookies
Yields: 24 cookies
Preparation time: 10 mins + 1 hour (inactive)

Ingredients needed to make Snickerdoodle Cookies:
- 2 ¾ cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 ½ cups + 3 tbsp sugar
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 large eggs
- ¼ tsp salt
- 3 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tsp cream of tartar
Cooking instructions for Snickerdoodle Cookies:
- Warm up your oven to 350 degrees F.
- Crack the eggs in a large bowl and whisk them thoroughly along with 1 ½ cups sugar and butter until they blend into a smooth, pale yellow mixture.
- Place the flour in a separate bowl and stir in baking soda, cream of tartar and a dash of salt until well combined.
- Fold it into the whisked egg mixture gradually, while beating them together thoroughly after every addition until they clump together to form a sticky dough.
- Leave the dough in the fridge for an hour or until it chills.
- Place a cookie sheet along with the dough in the fridge for about 15 minutes to chill.
- Toss rest of the sugar and ground cinnamon together in a small bowl and set aside.
- Drop 1’’ balls of dough into the spiced sugar mixture and roll them to coat well.
- Transfer them onto the chilled cookie sheet and bake in the hot oven for about 10 minutes or until they are baked through and turn golden in colour.
- Remove from oven and allow to cool on a wire rack.
- Store them in an airtight container at room temperature and tuck them in whenever you feel hungry.
