  • 6 tbsp cornstarch
  • 10 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 5 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • Crush the graham crackers into a large mixing bowl and drizzle the melted butter into it.

  • Tip rest of it into a 9’’ pie dish and press it gently into the base and sides of the dish.
  • Throw in the chocolate pieces in a medium bowl and heat it in the microwave at high, until it melts completely.
  • Stir the melted chocolate into a thick, glossy liquid and set aside.
  • Empty the can of coconut milk into a saucepan, along with the milk, sugar, vanilla and cornstarch.
  • Whisk them together until they blend thoroughly and cook over moderate heat, while beating it continuously, until it turns thick.

  • Spread it evenly across the crust, using a spatula, to smooth out the surface and set aside for 10 minutes to cool slightly.
  • Wrap it up in a plastic sheet and leave it in the fridge overnight.
  • On the following day, sprinkle the reserved crumbs evenly on top of the cream pie.
  • Slice and serve chilled.
