McDonalds Chicken McNuggets Recipe
Ingredients
- 1-2 pounds ounces boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into small pieces
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 cup of corn starch
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup of water
- 4 cups vegetable oil
Instructions
- Place the cut up chicken into a blender with ½ teaspoon salt and 1 egg and blend on high until smooth.
- Put ¼ cup corn starch onto a large plate.
- Shape the chicken into nuggets and and coat in the corn starch on the plate.
- Place the nuggets in the freezer for 20 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, add the remaining ¾ cup of corn flour, all-purpose flour, 1 egg, remaining ½ teaspoon of salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder and water. Mix together to form a batter.
- Pour the vegetable oil into a large pot and bring the heat up to medium-high.
- When the oil is hot enough for frying, remove the nuggets from the freezer.
- Dip each chicken nugget into the batter, and then transfer immediately into the hot oil.
- Fry for 7 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Serve hot with your favorite the dipping sauces!
