How to Cook Bavarian Cheese Balls With Cheddar And Beer Fondue

Ingredients needed to make Bavarian Cheese Balls With Cheddar And Beer Fondue:
For the cheese ball:
- 3 ( 8 oz) packages cream cheese, at room temperature
- 8 jalapeno peppers, roasted, seeded and finely chopped
- A bunch of green onions, chopped
- 1 jar ( 4 oz) dried beef, chopped
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion salt
For the fondue:
- 1 cup beer
- 4 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp all purpose flour
- ¼ tsp coarsely ground black pepper
- 1 ½ tsp ground mustard
Cooking instructions for Bavarian Cheese Balls With Cheddar And Beer Fondue:
- To make the cheese ball, empty the packages of cream cheese into a medium mixing bowl and whisk them with an electric mixer until they turn light and fluffs up.
- Fold the dried beef into the fluffy cream cheese, followed by jalapeno peppers and green onions.
- Season with dashes of garlic powder as well as onion salt and stir them all together to mix well.
- Take portions of the cream cheese in your hand and roll them into small balls.
- Arrange them in a shallow baking dish and leave them in the refrigerator overnight or until firm.
- On the following day make the fondue by tossing the flour and shredded cheese together in a large mixing bowl and set aside.
- Add a splash of beer into a small saucepan and whisk in the minced garlic, ground pepper as well as mustard.
- Heat the concoction over moderate heat until it turns bubbly, especially around the edges of the pan.
- Lower the heat to moderate-low right away and fold in a fistful of the dry mixture.
- Whisk them into the mixture vigorously, making 8-like motions with the spatula.
- Once it melts, fold in another batch of the dry mixture and incorporate it into the simmering mixture until all of it is used up.
- Simmer the fondue for a couple of minutes or until it becomes thick.
- Pour it into a serving bowl and keep warm.
- Take the cheese balls out of the oven and serve alongside the fondue.
- Dip and have fun.
